Scholarship Description

Since 1964, Wisconsin Public Service Foundation has awarded more than $4.8 million in scholarships to students from Northeastern and Central Wisconsin. At the Foundation, we believe that building on the tremendous potential of our young people is well worth the investment.

Scholarship Details

  • Multiple scholarship programs available through the Wisconsin Public Service Foundation
  • Open to students living within the WPS service area in Northeastern and Central Wisconsin
  • WPS Technical College Scholarship supports students entering energy-related diploma or associate degree programs
  • UW-Green Bay Phuture Phoenix Scholarship awarded to a former Phuture Phoenix program participant attending UW-Green Bay
  • WPS Foundation Daughters and Sons Scholarship Program supports children of active or retired employees of WPS, WEC Business Services, Michigan Gas Utilities, or Minnesota Energy Resources
  • Scholarships available for both college and technical college students

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicant must reside in the WPS service area of Northeastern or Central Wisconsin
  • Technical College Scholarship applicants must be graduating high school seniors pursuing energy-related programs at select Wisconsin Technical Colleges
  • UW-Green Bay Phuture Phoenix applicants must have participated in the Phuture Phoenix program and plan to attend UW-Green Bay
  • Daughters and Sons Program applicants must be children of qualifying current or retired employees of WPS or affiliated companies
