I am applying for this scholarship because I believe in reforming the world and film is the best way to do so. Media plays an important part in molding who we are as people. That said, if girls around the world constantly see themselves on the screens, there will be a change in their thoughts, behaviors, and perceptions of life.

I am going to apply for this scholarship because I think it's time to change the world by empowering young girls and women. And I think each of us have a goal to accomplish that. I think that films are the best way to do it and they really dive deep into the things women and girls go through.
