Waldorf University Creative Writing Scholarship
Waldorf University's English department recognizes talented creative writers, budding scholars, and voracious readers with renewable scholarships (up to $15,000) for those who desire to study Creative Writing. Apply for a scholarship for Creative Writing by:
- Completing the application form
- Uploading one or more of the following:
- A 200-word response about what role writing has in your life
- Five poems
- Ten typed double-spaced pages of fiction or creative non-fiction. Please include your name, page numbers, and the piece's title in the header.
To apply, you must wish to pursue either a minor or major in Creative Writing at Waldorf University. Applications will be accepted through January 16th for first consideration. We will continue to accept strong applications until all scholarships have been awarded. The faculty and staff of the English department judge applications. Craftsmanship and future potential that would benefit from creative writing mentorship are the focus of our selection process, not your prior record of academic achievement.
