Scholarship Details
- Sponsored through the Young Filmmakers Contest
- Open to student filmmakers from grade 3 through age 25
- No submission fee is required
- International students are eligible to participate
- Winning entries will be screened at the One Earth Film Festival in April of the following year
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a student in grade 3 or higher, or up to age 25
- Must submit an original film that meets contest requirements
- Students residing both within and outside the United States are eligible
- Must comply with all contest rules, terms, and submission guidelines
- International entrants must follow any additional requirements specified for non-U.S. participants
Application Process
- Review the contest rules, terms, and eligibility requirements
- Create an original film that meets the contest guidelines
- Prepare all required submission materials and documentation
- Submit the completed entry before 11:59 p.m. CDT on June 25th
- Verify compliance with any additional requirements if entering from outside the United States
- Monitor communications regarding judging results and finalist selections
- If selected, participate in premiere and festival screening opportunities
Young Filmmakers Contest submissions, from students from grade 3 up through age 25, are due by 11:59 p.m. CDT USA on June 25th. There are no submission fees.
