Scholarship Description

The PATCH Scholarship Program allows you to increase your knowledge in current developmentally appropriate practices and increases the number of people entering the early care and education profession. Limited funds are distributed on a first come, first serve basis. Priority is given to those currently employed in a licensed child care facility or operating a registered family child care home. Applicants must live in Hawaii. This is offered three times a year, so due dates will rotate.

PATCH is Hawaii's statewide child care resource and referral agency. Child care resource and referral (CCR&R) agencies, like PATCH are located throughout the country. CCR&R services have evolved from grassroot efforts to help parents find child care, to well-developed systems that support parents, providers, and local communities in finding, planning for, and providing quality child care. PATCH is the only Hawaii member of the Child Care Aware National Association of Child Care Resource and Referral Agencies (NACCRA).
