  • Omega Phi Beta Foundation (OPBF) is a national philanthropic organization committed to providing leadership, academic, and community development opportunities through educational and grant-making initiatives. These initiatives support individuals and organizations dedicated to advancing women’s rights in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, & Math). The Omega Phi Beta Foundation Fully Bloomed Scholarship is awarded to a mother who is pursuing any form of post-secondary education such as from a Trade School, College or University, which may include certification and/or training school. Motherhood is a commitment that requires one to put their needs aside for those they tend to. Our intent behind this scholarship is to support those individuals who are both mothers and students by providing them the financial assistance needed to achieve their goals.

    Applicant must have a high-school degree, be from a low-income household earning a combined income that is less than
    $45,000.00 a year and must be in pursuit of an undergraduate degree at a college or university, or be in pursuit of a certification from a trade school and/or post–secondary education. The Board of Directors of Omega Phi Beta Foundation will review and consider all applicants via a point system ensuring that all criteria is met. All General Scholarships are awarded for one year only and are non-renewable. Individual scholarship awards are for $500.00.
