The Elizabeth Horvath Swimming Scholarship Fund will provide scholarships to seniors graduating from Berks County high schools who intend to further their education after high school in pursuit of a bachelor's degree, who swam on a high school or club swim team in at least their senior year of high school, and are intending to swim on the college team or the college club team.

- Applicant must have swum on a high school or club swim team during their senior year
- Applicant must plan to swim on a college varsity or club swim team
Eligibility Criteria
- Graduating senior from a Berks County high school
- Plans to attend college and earn a bachelor’s degree
- Participated in high school or club swimming during senior yea and p lans to swim at the college varsity or club level
- Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
- Preference for applicants who have overcome adversity
Application Process
- Confirm eligibility based on residency, academics, and swimming participation
- Prepare a personal statement highlighting swimming experience and any challenges overcome
- Complete and submit the scholarship application by the specified deadline
- Provide academic transcript to verify GPA
- Include any other required supporting documentation as outlined by the scholarship provider
