The Hagan Scholarship is a nationwide need-based merit scholarship for high achieving rural students. These students must graduate from a public high school located in one of twenty-plus eligible states and in a county having fewer than 50,000 residents. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen and resident of an eligible state and must have attended as a junior and senior an eligible public high school and graduating in the coming spring, and will attend an eligible four-year college or university.
In addition, applicants must also: have achieved a high school Cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher; have an ACT score of 24 or higher; or have an SAT score of 1150 or higher. Applicants for this scholarship must have graduated from an eligible high school.
