I am a very dedicated person and have a 3.5 gpa unweighted and the scholarship would help a lot with college.

I have had a rough life. I was raised by clueless parents in multiple white trash neighborhoods, being exposed at a young age to the horrible world of poverty. Even after being adopted by my Grandmother, I was brainwashed to believe everything my sister said was infallible, and blindly obeyed her, letting her control my life. But through perseverance, hard work, and help from a friend, I am overcoming that to create a better life for myself and my future family. I have a GPA of 3.1 and Grandma most definitely makes less than $55,000. A year at Oakland University will cost $25,000, meaning it will cost $100,000 in total. I’m relying completely on scholarships and financial aid to prevent me from having cripplingly high student loans. This scholarship will be the biggest help for me so far.

I entered for this scholarship because I am enrolled full-time as a high school student carrying a 3.0 GPA. My parents are both teachers in my district (ISD15) and have been teaching for 20 years. My grandma was also a 3rd grade teacher just like my mom. I am hoping to follow in their footsteps and pursue a career in Elementary Education.

Hello, I am applying for this scholarship because I am very interested in attending college at as low as a cost as I could possibly do so. My mom is a preschool teacher full time, and she is not making enough money to help me too much with college. My goal is to attend Purdue University Fort Wayne for either audio engineering or music technology, and I believe this money would be very helpful for me to attend. I have a GPA of 3.8 and I am a very hard working person no matter what my circumstances are. I know that no matter what happens, I will make sure I leave a positive impact on whatever I am doing because that is one of my main goals in life.

I am a hard working person. I am very independent and like it when people depend on me, because I don't let people down. I always try to do the right thing even if no one is looking. I have a Unweighted GPA of 3.07, and am a senior attending at south mountain high school. My grandma has 3 children including me in her household and doesn't even make $50,000 a year. I am entering to hopefully win so my grandma doesn't have to worry about me not going to college, because I may not be able to afford it. its always been my dream to attend University of Arizona. this money will help me fulfill that dream.
