East Tennessee Foundation (ETF) awards scholarships from more than 79 scholarship programs in the following 25 counties in East Tennessee: Anderson, Blount, Campbell, Carter, Claiborne, Cocke, Grainger, Greene, Hamblen, Hancock, Hawkins, Jefferson, Johnson, Knox, Loudon, McMinn, Monroe, Morgan, Roane, Scott, Sevier, Sullivan, Unicoi, Union, and Washington. Additionally, there are ETF scholarship programs which award scholarships for students from 16 additional counties and locations outside of our 25 county service area, and for students studying law, architecture, or sports-related fields of study.
The Candace Mast Veterinary Medicine Scholarship was established in 2014 to assist female students studying veterinary medicine. Applicants must be U.S. citizens who are residents of East Tennessee Foundation's 25-county service area. Applicants must be graduating college seniors, current veterinary students or returning adult students who are enrolled or accepted into a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville or Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine with the intent to practice clinical veterinary medicine. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and have a minimum 3.0 GPA.
