Scholarships By Grade Point Average

Scholarships with GPA (or Grade Point Average) requirements are among the most common kinds of scholarship. You'll almost always need to meet a GPA requirement for a merit-based scholarship, but a minimum GPA can be a requirement for need-based scholarships as well. Traditionally a GPA is judged on a four-point scale, and at the highest GPA you can include on your profile is a 4.0. If your school uses a 5.0 or 6.0 scale, you will need to convert your GPA to the 4.0 scale in order to add it to your profile.

Having a high GPA isn't just important for scholarships. It's also a key factor in getting accepted into selective colleges and universities. Do you have a lower GPA? Don't fret – there are scholarship opportunities out there for students with average GPAs.
