  • Scholarship Description
  • The Cystic Fibrosis Scholarship Foundation (CFSF), founded by a parent of a young adult with CF, is pleased to announce a scholarship program for students with cystic fibrosis. CFSF is not part of, nor is it funded by, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

The program is available to those who will be enrolled in an undergraduate program or vocational school in the upcoming fall. Scholarships will be awarded based on a combination of financial need, academic achievement, and leadership. Students must be enrolled in a minimum of 9 credit hours per semester. Approximately 60% of the students who have applied in the past have been awarded scholarships. Awards may be used for tuition, books, and room and board. Awards will be sent directly to the institution that the student is attending. Both single year and multi-year awards are made, generally for $1,000 per year. Students can reapply the following year for an additional award, but there is no guarantee they will receive one.

Which application you are required to fill out depends on your current educational status. There are two separate application forms for high school/first year and college students.

For more information or to apply, please visit the scholarship provider's website.
