The Greater St. Louis Association of Black Journalists will award a $2,500 scholarship to a recent high school graduate from the St. Louis area who is now an incoming freshman majoring in journalism or communications at a college or university this fall. Deadline to apply is July 22. Applicants must be incoming college freshmen and must submit essay questions as well as a media project in addition to uploading their high school transcript and college acceptance letter.
Applicants must answer the questions "Why are you applying for this scholarship?" and "How do you plan to impact the media industry?" Email your college acceptance letter, high school transcript, and your answer prompt to the scholarship provider to enter.
