The Alameda Kiwanis Foundation will be awarding scholarships to graduates from Alameda high schools who apply, qualify and are selected by the Foundation Scholarship Committee. Funds will be disbursed after commencement of the academic term each year, payable to the institution. Scholarship funds are to be used only for the payment of qualified tuition and related educational expenses.
Eligibility
- Alameda, CA resident
- Graduating high school the year the scholarship is awarded
- Enrolled or enrolling in a accredited vocational school, trade school, college or university in the US
- Completed FAFSA
- Demonstrated financial need
- Demonstrates academic and personal integrity and leadership through school and extracurricular activities
There are several scholarships available to students graduating from a high school in Alameda County. Upon reviewing your application the committee will determine which scholarship will be awarded based on each application.
