Binhi at Ani is a Hawaii nonprofit corporation with a 501(c)(3) tax exempt status. It was incorporated in 1985 with the purposes of providing scholarships, promoting mutual respect and understanding among peoples of different ethnic and cultural backgrounds, promoting good citizenship and cultural awareness and promoting the general welfare. Binhi At Ani Filipino Community Center is committed to creating and maintaining a community that respects and values diverse life experiences.
The purpose of the Binhi At Ani Scholarship Program is to recognize students who have achieved a balance of excellence in academics, leadership and community service. To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must: be a resident of the island of Maui; be scheduled to graduate from a high school on Maui with a cumulative high school grade point average (through the 1st semester) of at least 3.50 on a 4.00 scale; and complete the application as instructed and provide all required documents by the stated deadline. Failure to follow the instructions will result in your application not being forwarded to the scholarship judges.
