• The Washington Apple Education Foundation is the charity of the tree fruit industry. Their mission is to impact lives through access to educational opportunities. Investors in the WAEF are making dreams come true for men and women improving their lives through higher education. Every year, the Washington Apple Education Foundation awards hundreds of scholarships to deserving students on behalf of tree fruit industry families, employers and supporters.

  The E. Ralph & Ida Strausz Memorial is offered to a graduating senior of Highland High School (Cowiche/Tieton, WA). It is renewable for up to four consecutive undergrad years. The scholarship fund honoring E. Ralph & Ida Strausz was created by their children in 2003. Each year a Highland High School graduating senior is awarded a $500 scholarship.
