The purposes of the Mennonite Aid Plan are to build positive relationships with the young people in our churches, and to assist in the development of our church leaders. We are committed to helping our church members, through insurance, in times of loss to home and property. As a way of giving back to our wider church family, we are offering scholarships to help our young adults obtain higher education. Scholarships will be awarded at the beginning of August and all applicants will be notified shortly thereafter.
The applicant for the Mennonite Aid Plan Scholarship must meet all three criteria: be a member or regular attender of a Mennonite, Mennonite Brethren, Brethren in Christ or Missionary church in Arizona, California, Oregon or Washington; be enrolled in a four-year college, university or graduate school on the West Coast; and be at least a college junior with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0. Applicants may apply multiple years. Preference will be given to applicants who have not previously received the scholarship.
