Scholarship Description

The Architecture Scholarship is open to undergraduate and graduate students, as well as interns, with a focus on architectural design. To be eligible, students must be enrolled in an architecture program at a school in Illinois or Northwest Indiana. Submissions should include conceptual perspective drawings or architectural renderings to scale, with a minimum of 2 elevations, showcasing components made of masonry (block, brick, stone, or a combination). Bonus points are awarded for incorporating masonry components on the interior, and a short statement describing the design and its intended use should accompany the submission.

Scholarship Details

  • 1st Place Prize: $1,000 unrestricted scholarship
  • Open to undergraduate, graduate students, and interns
  • Focus on architectural design
  • Submission must be related to the Recreation category (e.g., restaurants, brewery, theater)

Application Process

  2. Ensure masonry components (block, brick, stone, or any combination) are incorporated, with a bonus for interior use.
  3. Include a short statement describing the design and its intended use along with personal information (name, email, phone number, and mailing address).
  4. Email submissions
  5. Entries will be judged by local architects, and winners will be notified on or by November 1.
