The Paul S. Mills Scholarship program offers scholarships to students pursuing a degree in a financial service related field. This may include finance, accounting, insurance or risk management, actuarial sciences, and personal financial planning. Applicants for Paul S. Mills Scholarships must: be a US citizen or permanent resident (living anywhere under US jurisdiction, including US territories); demonstrate financial need; and be enrolled in a college or university program in the U.S. and has completed the equivalent of one year of credits toward an undergraduate degree or is pursuing a masters or PhD level degree.
To apply you must complete an application and write a short essay (500 words) describing why you wish to pursue an education in the financial service field and why the scholarship is important to you. You must also submit a FAFSA Student Aid Report so that financial need can be evaluated. Scholarship checks will be made payable to the school selected by the student and will be mailed to the recipient. Applications will be available annually as of February 1 and can be submitted between February 1 and 11:59 pm ET on March 31. All applicants will be notified of their status via e-mail no later than June 30. Scholarships will be paid on or about July 1.
