The Redrick Leijon Nicholas Williams Scholarship is for an African/Black male, raised by a single mother. Qualified applicants are graduating high school and living in Los Angeles County who will either be attending an accredited 4 year college/university, 2 year community/junior college, or vocational/trade school.

Application Requirements
- Application must be completed in black or blue ink
- Submit official high school transcript in a sealed envelope
- Unofficial transcripts must be signed by your counselor and sealed in an envelope their their signature
- Submit three letters of recommendation
The Redrick Leijon Nicholas Williams Scholarship was established in memory of Redrick Leijon Nicholas Williams, honoring his service to the community, youth, and education. Redrick was born and raised in Greater Los Angeles and graduated from George Washington Preparatory High School. He was reared by a single mother who instilled the importance of servitude and education. At age 14, he began volunteering in Los Angeles County and dedicated his life to serving others for over 30 years.
