  • Chicago Public Schools students–and now, students attending Chicago-based Big Shoulders Fund-supported schools–are able to pursue a degree or certificate at City Colleges at no cost. Requirements vary, but students generally need a GPA of at least 3.0, and must test completion-ready in math and English. Must maintain a 2.0 GPA.
