Eligibility Criteria
- Must be classified as a Texas resident by the institution
- Must be registered with Selective Service or be exempt
- Must have demonstrated financial need as determined by the institution
- Must be enrolled at least three-quarters time
- Must not have earned a baccalaureate degree
- Must not have been convicted of a felony or a crime involving a controlled substance
Application Process
- Complete and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA)
- Verify Texas residency status with your institution
- Provide any additional documentation requested by your institution
- Ensure enrollment at least three-quarters time in an eligible program
- Await notification of award status from your institution
