The University of Lynchburg offers a wide range of scholarships and awards. When you are admitted, you are automatically considered for these academic scholarships and awards. Merit scholarships for the upcoming school year range from in amounts annually and are renewable with continued full-time enrollment and satisfactory academic progress. You are automatically considered for academic scholarships once you are admitted to the University of Lynchburg — no separate scholarship application is required.
The Hopwood Scholarship is available to full-time entering freshmen at Lynchburg College. Applicants have an SAT score of at least 1150 or an ACT of 23, with a minimum GPA of 3.8, to be eligible for this award. Scholarships may have different academic expectations than federal, state, and University need-based aid. Should you receive a scholarship, your scholarship letter will indicate the academic standards required for renewal. After the freshman year, scholarships are renewable for three additional years if renewal eligibility is maintained. You may receive only one of these awards.
