AIFS is proud to offer special scholarships for high achieving students from backgrounds historically underrepresented in education abroad. The scholarships listed here are available to AIFS Study Abroad and/or Global Experiences internship students and are to be allocated for AIFS / GE opportunities unless otherwise noted.
Scholarship Details
- Award amount: $5,000
- Up to 3 awards available each semester (Fall and Spring)
- Designed to support students from underrepresented backgrounds in education abroad
Eligibility Criteria
- High academic achievement
- Participation in community service activities
- Historically underrepresented in education abroad
Application Process
- Ensure you meet the eligibility criteria
- Complete the scholarship application
- Submit the scholarship and program applications by the deadline:
- Fall Semester: April 15
- Spring Semester: October 1
If you are studying on a customized, faculty-led program through your home institution, these scholarships are not applicable to your program, though you may wish to check with your school regarding any available funding and are to be allocated for AIFS/GE opportunities unless otherwise noted.
