ACBH, with sponsorship from the Turkish Coalition of America (TCA), is accepting applications for a stipend internship program for students and recent college graduates who have been accepted for an internship position with members of the U.S. Congress.
Program Details
- Provides a monthly stipend:
- $400 for in-state participants
- $1,000 for out-of-state participants
- No other costs are covered
- Participants gain valuable experience in U.S. Congressional offices
- ACBH offers resources to assist candidates in finding internships
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a U.S. citizen of Bosnian descent
- Have a relevant educational background and demonstrated maturity
- Exhibit excellent communication and writing skills
- Have past interest and experience in community and public service
Application Process
- Secure an internship position with a U.S. Congressional office
- Prepare the following application materials:
- Internship acceptance letter from a U.S. Congressional office
- Most recent resume
- One-page cover letter explaining:
- Your interest in community and public service
- Your expectations of the program
- Names and contact information (phone and email) of at least two references
- Submit your completed application to the program by the designated deadline
