Parda’s Scholarship Program was established in 2006 to honor student members who have shown scholastic excellence and leadership in their schools and communities. Parda is proud of our student members and have provided $75,000 in scholarships to past recipients who have not only shown excellent scholastic achievement but also embody the credit union philosophy of people helping people through their community work.
Membership in Parda Credit Union is not required at the time of scholarship application. However, if you are selected you must become a member of Parda Credit Union before your scholarship is awarded. Applicants must submit an essay answer to the proposed question in 1,000 words or less and must currently be an undergraduate student enrolled in an accredited college or university, or accepted to an accredited college or university in the fall upon graduation from high school. Applicants must have a minimum 2.5 cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA), and provide a copy of their transcript with this application.
