We believe education is one of the most effective ways for girls to attain financial independence and they should never be hindered by a lack of finances. Its because when a girl is educated – a generation gets educated. The following individuals can apply: women who hold Indian citizenship; candidates who have passed 12th standard securing a minimum of 60% in the 10th and 12th standard board exams; and candidates who wish to pursue graduate or post-graduate courses.
Any under graduate and post graduate student can apply for this scholarship. The scholarship would be up to INR 50,000 per year. Applicants must submit a statement of purpose- a essay of not more than 250-300 words about yourself, your ambition in life and how you will achieve it. The money will be given to the student who is most deserving and this would be decided basing on the two personal interviews with the our team. We’ll go through your statement of purpose at least twice and will call you for two personal interviews and you might be asked to submit few documents at the time of interview.
