  • Scholarship Description
  • The Ford Opportunity Scholars Program offers a comprehensive scholarship to help students who are single parents succeed in college and beyond. In addition to a generous financial award, Scholars receive academic guidance, leadership development, personal and professional support, and access to the Ford Family alumni network. Up to 50 renewable scholarships are awarded each year to students from Oregon and Siskiyou County, California.

    Applicants must be a resident of Oregon or Siskiyou County, CA, and meet all in-state residency requirements for college of attendance. Must be a single parent with custody of dependent children (18 years of age or younger) and the head of household as defined by IRS regulations, be a graduating high school senior, or high school graduate (or the equivalent), or be a continuing college student.
