Nevada Womens Fund Scholarships

• Scholarship Description
• Since 1983, the Nevada Women’s Fund has awarded $4.9 million in scholarships to northern Nevada women. Many of our scholarship recipients are re-entry women and single mothers who have not had the opportunity to complete their educations due to family issues and/or financial constraints. Scholarships are awarded directly to the recipient and our philosophy is to continue to allocate scholarships to a deserving women (given that need and academic performance continue to be proven) until she achieves her degree.

  NWF welcomes applications from women with residency in Northern Nevada (For scholarship eligibility purposes NWF defines Northern Nevada as all Nevada counties except Clark County.) Applicants must be attending post-secondary university, college, or trade-school in Northern Nevada or at an accredited online program. (If attending a school outside of Northern Nevada, they must explain that their field of study is not offered at any school in Northern Nevada.) In addition, applicants must: upload a copy of their FAFSA SAR Report as part of the application as well as a copy of their most recent school transcript; have a 3.0 GPA; and be enrolled in school in the upcoming Fall semester.
