S.I.S.T.A.s of Middle Georgia Scholarship

• Scholarship Description
• In order to be considered for the S.I.S.T.A.s of Middle Georgia Scholarship, applicants must: be currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate Communication Sciences and Disorders Program; be a minority female; be a resident of Georgia; and have a 2.5 G.P.A. in an Accredited Undergraduate Program or a 3.0 G.P.A. in an Accredited Graduate Program. This scholarship is to be used for educational purposes only and funds will not be distributed until recipient provides a copy of their college student ID or ID number. Funds/check will be mailed to the school in the name of the scholarship recipient. No personal checks will be issued.

  Besides completing the application, you must also submit: a 7 minute or less audio file (In the audio file include these five items: 1) Your name, 2) A fun fact, 3) Why do you deserve this scholarship?, 4) Who has been a role model and why?, and 5) Where do you see yourself in 3-5 years in the field of speech-language pathology or audiology?); a recommendation letter from a speech-language pathologist or audiologist, a professor in the Communication Sciences and Disorders department, a supervisor (SLP or AUD), or a mentor (not affiliated with SISTAs of Middle Georgia); and an official transcript from your college/university.
