Scholarship Description

The Washington CPA Foundation is thrilled to announce scholarship opportunities totaling over $500,000 for aspiring accountants in Washington State. This initiative aims to support students on their journey to becoming Certified Public Accountants (CPAs). If you're a rising junior or higher for the academic year following your application for the scholarship, possess a GPA of 3.0 and above, attend an accredited college or university in Washington State, and aspire to be a CPA, we invite you to apply. This includes fifth-year seniors, master’s, and PhD candidates, as well as community college transfers.

Scholarship Details

  • Over $500,000 in scholarships available
  • Undergraduate and 5th-year students eligible for $5,000
  • Masters and PhD candidates eligible for $5,000 to $10,000

Eligibility Criteria

  • Rising junior or higher
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA (or equivalent)
  • Attend an accredited college or university in the State of Washington

Application Process

  1. Start your application now and update it as needed until the February 14 deadline.
  2. Include a current resume detailing your jobs, internships, volunteer positions, and leadership roles.
  3. Provide transcripts from all colleges attended.
  4. Submit one letter of recommendation from a faculty member, employer, mentor, or licensed CPA.
  5. Be entering your junior year or higher and enrolling in a Washington state college or university for Fall.
