Scholarship Description

The Knights of Columbus awards Bishop Charles P. Greco Graduate Fellowships annually to U.S. students enrolled in a full-time master's degree program designed for teachers of people with intellectual disabilities. Applicants must be a member in good standing of the Knights of Columbus, or the child or spouse of such a member or deceased member. Special consideration will be given to applicants attending a Catholic graduate school.

Besides completing the application, applicants must also submit: an official transcript of the applicant's undergraduate academic record; two recommendations from professional people who have observed the applicant's work with people with intellectual disabilities; and an autobiographical statement which gives evidence of interest in this program as shown by an account of experiences, paid or voluntary, with people with intellectual disabilities (this statement should also give reasons for the selection of the graduate school).
