Scholarship Description

The first step in becoming a CPA is to complete your higher education. Graduating from a nationally or regionally accredited college or university is strongly recommended. The AICPA is looking for scholarship applicants who are declared accounting, finance or related majors and intend to pursue the CPA license. Become an AICPA Legacy Scholar by applying for an AICPA Legacy Scholarship. If chosen, you'll be given funds to help pay for college and be offered exclusive professional development opportunities.

The AICPA Fellowship for Doctoral Students ensures that CPAs are visible in college and university classrooms. The program's goal is to increase the number of minority CPAs who serve as role models and mentors to young people in the academic environment. The AICPA Foundation awards annual fellowships to full-time accounting Ph.D. scholars who demonstrate significant potential to become accounting educators. Eligible applicants must also demonstrate financial need and be a US citizen or permanent resident.
