The Antonia Brancia Maxon Memorial Scholarship has been established to recognize a Doctor of Audiology student who best embodies the integrity, commitment, and professionalism that Dr. Toni Maxon exemplified to her patients, students, and peers over the years as a professor and audiologist. The $1500 scholarship will be awarded in June. The winner will be notified by email and the award check will be mailed to the recipient's home address. While there are no restrictions on how the money is to be spent, the intent is for it to be used toward education. All requested information must be received no later than May 1st by the Connecticut Academy of Audiology’s scholarship committee. To be eligible the student must be a resident of the State of Connecticut (copy of driver’s license required if attending a doctoral program out of state) or attending an audiology doctoral program in the state of Connecticut. Must be a 3rd year student in a 4-year Doctor of Audiology program and must be a full-time student. Submit two letters of recommendation that describe clinical and academic abilities. These letters may be from faculty members or supervisors of practicum.6)Submit a completed application form along with a transcript of all graduate coursework. A virtual interview may be requested.
