The Joshua L. Anderson Memorial Foundation was created in 1992 to award scholarships to deserving student/athlete graduates from high schools in Northern Nevada. Since inception 30 years ago, the Foundation has awarded hundreds of scholarships to students from thirty three different Northern Nevada high schools.
Recipients will receive their scholarship at the start of their freshman year of college. Recipients will need to provide proof of enrollment before receiving scholarships. Good, hardworking, ambitious student/athletes having participated in a high school baseball or softball program are encouraged to apply. Scholarships are based upon the applicant’s financial need, academic performance, extracurricular activities, participation in a high school baseball or softball program and a strong desire to earn a college education.
