The Annual Scholarship for Secondary Education supports Indiana students pursuing college, technical training, cosmetology school, or other higher education endeavors. Applicants are encouraged to share their unique story and educational goals through a personal essay.
Scholarship Details
- Annual scholarship opportunity for Indiana students
- Open to students pursuing college, technical school, cosmetology school, or similar programs
- Recipient may be invited for a photo opportunity during May
Eligibility Criteria
- Indiana resident
- High school junior or senior or current college, trade school
- Demonstrated financial need
- Commitment to community or school involvement
Application Process
- Write a 500 to 1,000 word essay addressing the required prompts
- Include why you stand out, your activities, financial need, and future study plans
- Explain how you would make an impact on the community if awarded the scholarship
- Email the essay submission by May 1st at 10 p.m.
We would like the winner/winners to be available the Month of May to at your school/employment for a photo opportunity to present your scholarship if available (this does not hinder you from winning if you are unable to arrange in person). Winner of the scholarship must provide information of the school so that funding can be directly paid to school.
