Winthrop University is pleased to announce that it is the first post-secondary institution to offer a Cornhole Scholarship to student athletes who play the rapidly-growing sport. The first two awardees of the scholarship have been announced and will be receiving an award worth roughly half of their tuition. The American Cornhole League, perhaps not coincidentally, is also located in Rock Hill, South Carolina and hosts the American Cornhole Championships. Winthrop's Cornhole team will use the ACL's facilities.

- Put together any appropriate documents or records that show your participation in the sport. This could be anything from participation in open tournaments to the American Cornhole League (ACL) National High School Cornhole Championship (NHSCC).
- Get all other high school and financial aid documents in order.
