Education is vital to the growth and future of every community. Because of this, the Saginaw Community Foundation administers a variety of scholarship programs for high school, community college, university and vocational students. Since awarding our first $500 scholarship in 1987, the Saginaw Community Foundation has awarded more than $8 million in scholarships. On July 9, 2011, Brandon passed away at the age of 18 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Applicants must be a graduating high school senior from Swan Valley High School, Hemlock High School, St. Charles High School, Freeland High School, Nouvel Catholic Central High School, or Valley Lutheran High School with a minimum 2.5 GPA who is pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in criminal justice and will be enrolled full-time. Dollar amounts for this scholarship will vary.
