This gift-supported program encourages aspiring healthcare providers with scholarship awards and community connections. Our High School Healthcare Scholarship Program has a rich history that includes nearly $480,000 awarded to 653 scholarship recipients, with many past awardees now caring for patients in western Montana, the state, and throughout the world.
The Foundation currently awards scholarships to Missoula and Ravalli County high school seniors who intend to pursue a career in medicine, nursing, or other health-related field. Our minimum scholarship award is $1,000. The awarding of Premier $2,500 Scholarships is considered by the Foundation’s Education Committee as annual applications are reviewed and donor support is secured.
