The Maude and Alexander Hadden Scholarship, established in 1968, supports high school seniors, that demonstrate financial need, in their pursuit of a college undergraduate degree for up to four years.
Scholarship Details
- Annual award up to $5,000, renewable for a maximum of four undergraduate years.
- May be applied towards tuition, room and board, books, and other educational expenses.
- Subject to institution policies, may cover study abroad, laptop, or health insurance premiums.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be U.S. citizens planning to attend a four-year accredited college or university in the United States.
- Minimum unweighted GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
- Demonstrated financial need, character, leadership, volunteerism, and academic achievement.
Application Process
- Applications accepted from February 1st – June 1st. No materials accepted after June 1st.
- Submit online application along with academic transcripts, financial aid award letter, and a list of all outside scholarships.
- Verify with the college’s financial aid department that award displacement will not occur.
