The Naija Nation Legacy Foundation has ambitions to make a huge impact on our members' lives. In the next five years, we plan to award $50,000 in scholarships to applicants who are motivated to better themselves through education. This year, we will be awarding three scholarships: a $1,000 scholarship; a $750 scholarship; and a $500 scholarship. Anyone of African heritage, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0, and able to submit a form of identification proving US citizenship is welcome to apply.
To apply, submit a video application with a minimum duration of two minutes and maximum of five minutes. This video can be recorded on any device, so long as you are clearly visible and in a distraction-free environment. Be sure to speak clearly, use proper lighting, and keep your head and shoulders in frame at all times. Upload your video to YouTube or Vimeo and include the direct link in the application form. In your video, please include a brief introduction listing your name, the school you are attending or planning to attend, your level of education, and share what African tribe you are from. Tell us about your field of study or intended field of study. Share your educational goals and discuss your dream career–show us your drive and passion! Lastly, tell us how you would improve your community if you were granted one million dollars tomorrow. Applicants must also provide an unofficial transcript from their school/university in the application form.
