Create a 20-30 second video answering the question “What has science done for me?” or “What has science done for somebody I know?” You will be judged on your ability to highlight how science saves in a succinct, creative way with original photos, video clips, and text. Be sure to add #ScienceSaves to your video.
Scholarship Details
- Eight winners will win up to $10,000
- Winners will receive:
- First Prize: $10,000
- Second Prize: $2,000
- Third Place: $1,000
- People's Choice: $1,000
- Honorable Mentions (4): $250
- Prizes will be distributed as bank checks, made out in the name of the winner.
Eligibility
- High school senior
- Legal resident of the U.S.
- Accepted to or enrolled in an accredited college, university or trade school in the coming fall
The potential winners will be notified by email or phone. Each potential winner will be required to confirm and accept their prize within five (5) days of the date notice or attempted notice is sent, in order to claim his/her prize.
