The Tony V. Grey Legacy Scholarship honors the life and contributions of Tony V. Grey—U.S. Navy officer, community leader, and proud Filipino American—by supporting the educational goals of students who share his heritage and community roots. In partnership with the Filipino American Council of Ventura County, this $2,500 scholarship is awarded to a graduating high school senior who demonstrates pride in their Filipino identity and commitment to their future.
Scholarship Details
- One-time award of $2,500
- Created to honor Tony V. Grey’s legacy of service, leadership, and cultural pride

- Not open to any relatives of Tony Grey
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a graduating high school senior (Class of 2025)
- Must attend a high school located in Ventura County, California
- Must be a current resident of Ventura County
- Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0
- Must be at least 50% Filipino in heritage
- Family members (direct, extended, distant, or otherwise) of Tony V. Grey are not eligible
