I am currently pursuing a career as a youth minister through gaining a Bachelors degree in Christian Leadership with an emphasis on Youth ministries. I have felt called to ministry for many years, and feel that Grand Canyon University will strengthen my abilities to lead when looking for this position as a career. this Scholarship will enlighten my abilities and create a stress free college experience for me. My mother serves as a teacher to Pre-K kids within my church's Christian school. She is a hard worker, and I want to make her proud by obtaining this degree and making disciples for the glory of God!

Hello, I grew up constantly traveling overseas and doing mission work in various countries. I was raised by a single mom who works as a full-time missionary in Haiti. As amazing as the work she does, it definitely isn't a job that pays a lot in monetary rewards. Considering the income or should I say lack of income, it has been made clear that I have to pay for my own education. So I was hoping this scholarship could help me out!

Hi I'm Kiley and my dad is a music minister at Calvary Baptist Church in Knoxville, Tennessee. I've grown up in church all my life and I want to find ways to serve God in the next season in my life. I plan on studying vocal music education, and hope to do it at Furman University in the fall of 2021.

Joy Brown  on 11/15/2020 12:53:23 AM

Hello my name is Joy Brown. I am a student in Oral Roberts University and I am majoring as a Worship Arts: Concentration on Music Production with a minor in Graphic Design. I have chosen these majors to help the churches in my community back home using the talents God has given me. I come from a family that both my parents are pastors. My dad is third generation and my mom is second generation. Both my parents are pastors of an hispanic church and financially it has been tight on my family as my parents are taking care of my grandparents who are pastors in Peru but came to the US for medical help. This scholarship will help me succeed in my studies so I can walk into the calling God has put on my life when I graduate with no debt.

Hi, name is Kelvin Jones.i am a missionary kid. I am currently studying at Northcentral University. I am taking a pastoral major and a business minor as well as christian studies. I have been struggling with finding the correct job that fits according to my schedule. I am currently staying in the dorms of NCU, while my parents are preparing to go back on the mission field which is stated in Africa. Thank you for supporting needy students. Do you support any in Africa? I have tried to create an account but it does not come through because in Kenya we do not have zip codes but postal codes.. My parents are full-time ministers in a local church in Kenya. I will appreciate your quick response on this. Thanks.
