The Ermida Olivia Booth Scholarship is funded through The Booth Family Foundation. The Ermida Olivia Booth Scholarship is committed to assisting students from middle-income families who have lost a mother or grandmother from cancer. $1,000 will be awarded per student for four consecutive years, the scholarship seeks to empower students by providing them with financial and emotional support throughout their college years.
Scholarship Details

Eligibility Criteria
- High school graduates (or soon-to-be graduates) from the United States
- Minimum cumulative unweighted GPA of 2.5 or above
- Accepted and enrolled in a full-time program at a U.S. public college or university
- U.S. citizenship required
- Demonstrate financial need through the FAFSA SAR report (cannot receive federal grant assistance)
- Show a commitment to helping seniors through school, community, or church activities
- Submit a minimum 500-word essay about their experience of losing a mother or grandmother to cancer, its impact, educational goals, and future career plans
- Provide a resume, transcript, and three letters of recommendation, including one from a business professional and one from a school official
