If you’ll be enrolled in college in in the coming academic year and you’re a Prince George’s Community Federal Credit Union Member you could win one of two opportunities to win funds to further your education. Each year we salute the commitment and dedication of two of our long-standing credit union legends, Virginia Stallings and Cindy Prestandrea with our scholarship program.
Scholarship Details
- Four (4) $2,500 scholarships are available
Eligibility Criteria
- Open to Prince George’s Community Federal Credit Union members
- Scholarships are awarded to students in various categories:
- Graduating from high school
- Enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited institution of higher learning
- Enrolled in a graduate program at an accredited institution of higher learning
- Accepted to an accredited trade or vocational school
Application Process
- Complete the scholarship application, including academic history and community involvement
- Submit a video essay response as a new application requirement
- If you're not a member but wish to be considered for the scholarship, you can enter by opening a savings account with the minimum membership amount
Applications can be submitted starting January 1st and are due by 11:59 pm on March 1st. Recipients will be announced in late March.
