The Posse Veterans Program identifies, trains, and supports veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces interested in pursuing bachelor’s degrees at top colleges and universities.
Scholarship Details
- Candidates go through a unique three-stage Dynamic Assessment Process (DAP), including group interviews with representatives from partner colleges.
- A one-month intensive program in New York City focuses on leadership, academic excellence, cross-cultural communication, and team building before matriculation.
- Weekly meetings with faculty mentors during freshman and sophomore years, bi-semester campus visits from Posse staff, and participation in the annual PossePlus Retreat.
- Guidance in resume writing, interview preparation, and networking, along with access to professionals in various industries through events and career opportunities.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces.
- Demonstrate the potential to succeed at highly selective colleges and universities.
- Commit to participating in all components of the program, including pre-collegiate training and campus mentoring.
