The AICPA Foundation Fellowship for Accounting Doctoral Students seeks to support CPAs with recent accounting experience who want to serve as role models and mentors to young people in the academic environment.
Scholarship Details
- Multiple fellowships of $15,000 awarded annually
- Renewable for up to three consecutive years with proof of progress and enrollment
- Supports full-time Ph.D. or DBA students at AACSB-accredited accounting/business schools
- Top five recipients also receive the honorary Bill Ezzell Award
Eligibility Criteria
- Licensed CPA
- Accepted to or enrolled in a full-time AACSB-accredited Ph.D. or DBA program in accounting
- Minimum of one year remaining in the doctoral program
- Intent to teach and conduct research at a U.S. accredited university
- U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- Demonstrated financial need
