Scholarship Description

Over $200,000 is awarded annually with individual awards ranging from $600 to $1,500. There is one two-year award in the amount of $6,000. Award monies are deposited into the student’s credit account with the financial aid office of the educational institution.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must be accepted into an accredited graduate-level program in physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, or audiology
  • Eligible programs must be accredited by the appropriate professional accrediting authority
  • Students enrolled in assistant-level or undergraduate programs are not eligible
  • Selection is based on financial need, commitment to the local community, character demonstrating compassion and integrity, and career objectives

Application Process

  1. Complete the online scholarship application between February 1st and April 1st
  2. Provide all required personal and academic information in the application
  3. Upload your FAFSA Submission Summary
  4. Submit proof of enrollment in an accredited graduate program that meets the scholarship requirements
  5. Upload a one-page personal statement describing your goals and qualifications

Since 1955, National AMBUCS, Inc. has awarded scholarships to students pursuing degrees in physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, and audiology. To date, more than $10 million in scholarships have been awarded to over 16,757 students.
