The ASID Foundation Legacy Scholarship is open to students who are enrolled in, or have been accepted for, admission to a graduate-level interior design program at an accredited university.
Scholarship Details
- Award amount is $4,000
- Applications are accepted from February 15th through April 15th
- The scholarship is awarded annually
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be enrolled in or accepted for admission to a graduate-level interior design program
- The program must be offered by an accredited university
- Applicants should demonstrate an interest in advancing interior design practices that positively impact health and well-being
Application Process
- Prepare a personal essay of no more than 1,000 words explaining how you will embrace and advance interior design practices that positively impact health and well-being in your anticipated area of design practice
- Obtain an unofficial transcript or alternate proof of enrollment
- Prepare a design portfolio containing no more than 10 pages
- Request a letter of recommendation
- Write a biographical statement
- Prepare a headshot
- Submit the completed application and all required materials
The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic accomplishment, creative achievement, and personal statement. Applicants must write an essay on the provided prompts and match all eligibility criteria.
